It's first of all, it's an insult to put spanish before english on your profile ANDREW 2ND the way you treat patients that have been with you since basically day 1 is appalling. The staff is definitely for themselves and often feel like i'm in a daytime soap opera where there's definitely relationships in between coworkers. Then you have patients who literally have a dozen plus family members that go here and are all treated differently depending on their insurance. Some have same issues but treated way differently. And the ones that get him more money they'll bend over backwards and the ones that are on medicaid and Medicare don't get anything and get treated like dogs and barely get meds and leave it to patients to do leg work.

My family member has been going to this dr for a long time. Ive since took over the Healthcare of this family member. This office in my opinion is terrible. To think someone being released from the hospital and needs to see their pcp is met with." The best i can do is November. This is July! Completely unacceptable. The front office staff is condescending and do not follow through with what was talked about. His nurse is terrible also. Responding with condescending remarks. The lack of attention this dr has shown my family member is sickening I wish I had stepped in sooner. I will be reporting this office the best way I know how and I urge others to advocate for yourself or for a family member who is unable to do so. You dont have to accept a dr office thats treats you poorly!

Dr. Houston spent lots of time getting to know my medical needs, making recommendations and all without judgement. Great visit.

I was one of many who was disheartened by the way my health was managed or lack of management and took to the reviews with a heavy heart and hand however once I realized Houston was moving to another network is when my healthcare was kicked into full swing. I've non stop since his move to AHN have got specialty appointments with in a week, two tops. My apt kast week was an with Dr. Houston. He is back to his happy do for you attitude. I can honestly say he has your health in the best of interest. The JWM affiliates is by far the worst healthcare team in Johnson county. To go in 3+ appointments and never have your referrals sent, tests, etc was a slap in the face of patients but more so Houston as his hands were tied more than any doctors should be. Thank you Dr Houston for being a unbelievably unremarkable Dr. And person.Keep it up.

These 2 care more about eachother than their patients.

If you like being treated poorly by office staff and not being able to speak to your doctor then this is the office for you. Otherwise, save yourself the time and trouble and find another doctor. Had an appointment for 830, was still in the waiting room until 845, asked the receptionist who said well your appt is 845, I said no it is 830, and she says oh. They charge you for being more than 15 mins late but have no issue making your wait 15 minutes or more. I have a myriad more issues with office staff as well as the doctor himself which I will not go into detail, suffice it to say I gave up and just decided to find a different doctor.
