The online reviews of Sleep Medicine Associates of Texas on Glen Lakes are correct. This place does not return phone calls. Ever. Left four voice messages for a return call to make a new patient appointment, to no avail. Can’t imagine how existing patients are treated or even how they became existing patients. LOL — here it is a month later, and still no return call.

I saw Dr. Jamieson after years of insomnia, daytime fatigue, and chronic pain. At that time my sleep schedule was far off of what I wanted. I was going to bed around 11 pm, but was unable to fall asleep until around 3 or 4 in the morning even with medication. I only felt rested after 11-12 hours of sleep, and even then was excessively fatigued during my waking hours. Dr. Jamieson scheduled me for a sleep test from 8 pm one night to 6 am the next morning. I recently found out that most sleep specialists schedule studies for nighttime OR daytime sleepers, but I was never asked that. So being hooked up at around 9, I fell asleep around 12, woke up at least 8 times during the night due to tangled or disconnected wires or discomfort from not being able to change position because of the wires, and then they got me up at 6. I had to answer a questionnaire, and I was so groggy that the only question I remember was "Do you feel rested?" I believe my answer was HE77 NO! A week or two… later I met Dr. Jamieson (for the first time), and he showed me the results, told me everything was normal, and said I'd had "a great night." Seriously? He totally brushed me off, disregarding any questions I asked based on my own research. He told me I MIGHT have chronic fatigue syndrome, or maybe somatoform disorder, and sent me on my way. No final diagnosis, no treatment. The last thing he did was hand me a copy of an article he'd written on somatoform disorder, told me to research it, and sent me on my way. The only reason the ratings for diagnosis and follow up have one star is that I can't put any less.
