Dr. Andrew Harry Joseph, MD

Beware: this guy is a ripoff. I made an appointment fir an annual physical, which he classified as a follow up visit so that the visit wouldn’t be covered by Medicare and so UPMC could bill me for an office visit. Totally sleazy.

Dr. Joseph seems nice, but lately he spends less and less time with the patient. He also run a full hour behind schedule normally. If you do not have any long-term illnesses, he is ok, otherwise he is at a loss. Staff is fake friendly to your face, but talks negatively about you behind your back.

Dr. Joseph was great. He is a true physician, not your hurry, hurry, make a diagnosis so that it can be put in the computer and send you on your way. Most of the doctors that I have visited in the last two years spend more time trying to learn their computer than they do examining the patient. Sad but true. Dr Joseph listened to my various concerns and then addressed each one of them. Ordered tests that were appropriate to my concerns and said we would visit the results in three weeks. I felt confident when I left his office that he was going to give his very best to diagnose and treat my medical needs. The staff is helpful and gracious in their approach to your needs.

Dr. Joseph takes the time to listen and understand. I feel he really has a sincere interest in the welfare of his patients. He is never rushed during the exam time. He has an easy-going manner and a nice sense of humor that makes each visit pleasant. I would highly recommend him to others.His staff is also helpful and prompt in follow-ups to patient phone calls about prescriptions and appointments.
