Dr. Andrew Kenneth Kiluk, MD

I have been with this practice for 3 1/2 years for 3 of my 4 children. My oldest was denied care because she was 12 years old, yet I learned later they see teenagers. I was happy with the care for my other three children until they moved their practice to a new building in 2012 and inserted different appointment policies without notification to their clients. Now, my youngest has not been seen for his last two 'well baby' appts but would be seen for immunizations only because they were to busy seeing children about to enter kindergarten. My middle school child will not be given an afternoon appt and will only be seen if I take her out of school in the morning. (They advertise their last appt time is 4:30pm but we do not qualify.) I felt I had a very healthy relationship with this practice despite their conflicting and wavering policies on appointments and what ages their practice accepted. I now feel strongly compelled to warn others to find other care. This practice seems to… be 'under contruction' and not a place to put trust in your child's medical care.

Make sure your appointment time is correct. I have just found out that I have significant hearing loss (veteran) and heard the wrong time. I am going through the VA for assistance, but it will be a while. Meanwhile, my telephone conversations are not the greatest. When I explained to their office that I am finding out that I have a significant hearing loss, they said I should have told them before hand and considered it an excuse, they still want me to pay the $45 missed appointment fee. There response when I said I think I did not hear the correct time..."That is your fault, you confirmed with us on the phone, that is not our office's problem." Yes, I showed up, just several hours ahead of the appointment time. The building was closed and I embarrasingly sat there with my daughter in the car waiting like an idiot, calling the office and getting their answering machine. Female veterans are not taken seriously (we come back with no problems or hearing loss). I guess only old people read… lips, mumble and make you repeat what you said. Actually crying as I write this.

Dr. Kiluk's staff was friendly and prompt in answering my phone call and getting me in that day. I had no more than a 10 min. wait time, and Dr. Kiluk gave my daughter an exam and diagnosed her and explained the plan of action to me thoroughly. I was on my way in a half hour. She was back to school two days later. I was very impressed with our sick visit. I have heard from friends that he is very thorough with his well exams and that he goes over more than just a basic physical. He explains why he does what he does. I will be going back with my other children. I work and did not feel like I wasted my entire day sitting among other ill children in a waiting room. I was in and out. Thank you to Dr. Kiluk and his staff. I will be back!

We love Dr. Kiluk and his staff. He has been nothing but nice and informative to us as new parents. Our son absolutely loves him as well. The new office is very kid friendly and well decorated. Amy the nurse is our favorite nurse and Beth is just an all round amazing woman. We will be very upset when we move out of the area, I don't think we will ever find another doctor as great as Dr Kiluk!
