Disrespectful, arrogant, rude

Dr. Klapper has taken care of my mom and myself in both surgery and wound care. I can't say enough great things about him, he is the best!!!!! His staff at wound care are absolutely wonderful. They took some very bad situations and turned them around where others couldn't Keep up the great work, you'll always be our go to guy. Thanks Doc.

After seeing dr. Klapper for almost 4 months he dropped me as a patient because I had emergency surgery by another surgeon. I understand slightly about his frustration being someone else operated on his work without being notified but the way he approached the situation was REDICULOUS AND DISRESPECTFUL! He never even looked at my incision, just said "I'm discharging you as a patient" LOUDLY so all the other patients being seen could hear him walked out of the room I was being seen in. I now am sitting here with fractures from my knee down, open wounds on my foot unsure of where to go from here because he knows my entire history and the only Dr I've ever been treated by. I'm in extreme pain and my sutures were supposed to be removed TODAY. I feel betrayed as patient. He is the MOST ARROGANT MAN I'VE EVER MET and made it clear he in his thoughts is by far the best Dr out there and that I won't be able to find another Dr like him before I was able to leave the office in embarrassment.… STAY CLEAR FROM THIS MAN. He made me feel auful and as a trama victom no one should be made to feel that way. Dr. Klapper is by far the worst Dr I've ever been to and if he was to have seen the infection and EXPOSED TENDON in my foot I wouldn't have to had been admitted to the ER and had surgery by another Dr to begin with!!!

Dr Klapper is an arrogant jerk. He cares nothing about his patients in my opinion. It's no wonder they ran him out of Staten island.

Dr. Klapper was called in on an emergency basis to treat my aunt. She was seriously injured in a motor vehicle accident. The skin on her thighs was torn away and some muscle was damaged. Dr. Klapper took great care of my aunt. It was touch and go the first week after the accident. Dr. Klapper continued to follow up on my aunt's recovery. She is now fully healed and back at home. My family will always be indebted to Dr. Klapper for saving my aunt.

Dr Klapper takes a personal interest in the well being of his patients. Dr Klapper is very detailed and provides the best care for his patients. He has an friendly personality and makes his patients feel that they are important.

Ruined my body after liposuction

DR. Andrew Klapper is an unethical and unskilled surgeon. When I was 23, I decided to have outer thigh liposuction. Unfortunately, back then I was so excited to have the procedure that i neglected to do enough research before booking my procedure the same day as my consolation. He left me with 4 large scars on each thigh, and an uneven crease on my right thigh. When i complained about his faulty work, he offered to do a "touch up" as he called it for an additional $1500. A few days before my revision surgery was scheduled to be performed, I received another phone call from his office saying the surgery will be at an alternate location and I "should not contact my surgical coordinator." I was also called at 8pm the night before the surgery and told i need to buy my own compression garment. I found out later that he had filed bankruptcy, which is why they were so shady about contacting the office. The revision never did anything to help the appearance. I also spoke to other surgeons who… indicated that the mismatched scarring (vertical on one leg and horizontal on the other) most likely means he had an assistant do all or part of the work on one side. Do yourself a favor and avoid him!!

Dr. Klapper is amazing. Hes not just a doctor, hes an artist. He makes you look subtly beautiful and never like a cartoon character. I used him for a period of three years up until all the nonsense with the "Housewife" started and he left his practice. Since then, no one has come close to the results he gets. If anyone knows where he is practicing, please share!
