Dr. Andrew Lancaster, MD

I went to Dr. Lancaster for about 3 years. So about 7 visits so I feel my review is very informed. The office staff is slow to get blood work reviewed by the doctor and can be very rude. Dr. Lancaster is usually about 30 min late to each of my appointments. He carry’s a laptop with him and types while you talk, which makes it feel as though your not being cared for. I was going for my thyroid and wanted more then just my TSH checked (I.e T4) but he would not order those for me. I go to a new doctor now and my Thyroid has better numbers because we are treating more then just the TSH!

Dr.Lancaster is extremely unprofessional. Staff is slow to return calls, review blood work, and check in.

Dr. Lancaster is very unkind toward patients. The staff does not forward bloodwork for his review regularly.

Very thorough and cares about his patients.

I found Dr Lancaster personal able, yet he decided to make a judgment about my health PRIOR to ordering tests, which missed a thyroid condition. Decided not to go back to him.

I only gave one star over all because it wouldn't allow me to give ZERO stars.

Stay away unless you have insurance and the patient is on their death bed!

Dr. Lancaster relies solely on lab results instead of listening to his patients. It takes about 30-45 from the scheduled appointment time to actually get into a room. From the time you are in the room until the time you leave is about a 10 minute time span (unless you chose to ask questions). At first, he seemed very knowledgeable and courteous, but as time went on and the concern for my health increased (as I saw no significant changes in my health), he seemed almost irritated at my persistence with questioning what was wrong with my health. As it turned out, he has no respect for patients and really just cares about collecting a check. Patients deserve a doctor who listens and Andrew Lancaster does not listen.

Dr. Lancaster is a phenomenal doctor. His bedside manner is tremendous. He listens to you and is patient and understanding. He always makes you feel as if you, your care and treatment are his top priority. Dr. Lancaster is extremely knowlegeable but never makes you feel stupid or inferior. Dr. Lancaster is very thorough and attentive. I have numerous health issues including diabetes and thyroid problems. I orginally saw Dr. Lancaster so he could help me to get my diabetes under control. Through his careful and thorough testing we discovered I had thyroid cancer. Dr. Lancaster explained everything in detail to me and answered all my questions. He called on board an awesome sugeon and worked with her on the care and treatment of my thyroid cancer. I was very pleased with the care I received from the surgeon Dr. Lancaster referred me to. Through all of my care that Dr. Lancaster has given me he is always impeccable. Dr. Lancaster and his staff work well together and are always on point. I… cannot speak highly enough of Dr. Lancaster. You would do yourself a great disservice to not have Dr. Lancaster as your doctor.
