Dr. Andrew Joseph Levada, MD

The wait time to see Dr. Levada is two hours or more! There is something seriously wrong with the scheduling or office procedures. Although he is a kind man, the practice needs to FOCUS on seeing their patients PROMPTLY. No reason to be waiting over two hours.

Dr. Levada may or may not have the knowledge of the ophtalmology, but it appeared to me he couldn't care less about the human in front of him. When I told him that for our simple check up of my 1 year old referred by PCP we did not want to go ahead and do a dilation,his argument for persuading me otherwise were: "This is a liability issue for us. So just to be clear, if there is a tumor and I don't find it without dilation- NOT MY FAULT" So that made clear right away what he cares about most.Needless to say this practice is ran in a very consistent,disrespectful to the patients, manner. I arrived early with my 1 year old for a 9:15 AM appointment and with all the paperwork filled out ahead of time- we still had to wait more than an hour past our scheduled time to see the doctor, just to hear his spill about liability issues. What a shame!
