I had a endometrial biopsy, fully awake. I couldn’t get a valium, although I don’t think it would have made a difference. I took 800mg Motrin, 2 Benadryl and 1 Norco, left over from my diverticulitis. It didn’t even touch that kind of pain. The worst pain, ever. They say a little cramping, I never had any cramping like this. I had 3 births all natural and no screaming, and a d& c, with colposcopy, no meds. They say, it is quick, but feels like an eternity. I would try and find a doctor who will at least give you a twilight sleep. If not, then definitely have doctor Lin do it, because he is very skillful. I had no bleeding or extreme cramping like others have had afterwards. I am sure he is excellent for any other med. issue. I would have given him 5 stars, but just can’t handle that level of pain.
