Dr. Andrew Monroe London, MD

Since I never had children, I needed a really good GYN. I needed someone who would treat me as a valuable woman who chose not to bring children into this world. Once I reached the age of 40 I realized I did not need an OB/GYN I only needed a GYN doc. If I saw a OB/GYN doc I was treated very badly for my decision. Then I met Dr. London. He accepted and understood why I did not want to have children. His whole attitude towards women is refreshing, caring and focused on female health issues. I could never ask for a better GYN doc.

Dr London was my GYN for over 30 years, and would be as long as I need a GYN if we had not moved out of MD a few years ago. I could not have asked for more when I was referred to him by a coworker, at a time I was looking for a new doctor! His bedside manner is superb--patient, intelligent, humorous, knowledgeable, interested in solving all possible patient dilemmas. At one point, an emergency arose requiring surgery that, unbeknownst to me, saved my life. Dr London reacted with humility to my expressions of gratitude... what more can I add, except that he is special in the extreme; that I miss his medical care--now I'm babbling, but deeply fortunate!
