Dr. Andrew Loucopoulos, MD

This doctor has ZERO bedside manner. He is as insensitive and harsh as the news was when I heard I have PCOS. I don't quite understand how he can be a doctor within this field. He speaks over you when you are talking, often contradicts what he says, is unclear when he gives you instruction on which medications to take when, and doesn't care about how you feel physically or emotionally from the treatment. I've nicknamed him Ice Man. I thought picking him as my doctor versus a huge fertility clinic was the way to go to get more specialized and personal attention. I guessed wrong.

I went to 3 GYN in a period of 6 mos. and no one could give a solution to my problem. Dr Andrew went right to the root of it! I hope that all docs could be so careful and really interested in their patients, like Dr Andrew.

He is direct and very pragmatic. But, after NUMEROUS miscarriages and ectopic pregnancies, I have a son because of him. I am older (42)and my chances where not good, but he was honest and as determined as I. I should have named my son Andrew-seriously. Please note, his bedside manner might not be the best, but when I held my healthy baby boy in my arms...Life is GREAT.

I was referred by my OBGYN office to Andrew Loucopolous, MD for reproduction. He is the most un-sensitive doctor I have ever had. Especially with this treatment, one will want someone a little more caring and sensitive. He does not listen to any thing that I had to say. He first asks how you intend to pay. When I told him what my insurance covered, it seems as though he stretched out to procedure to use everything the insurance covered. Some visits you will think were totally useless. I was thinking could he have done that the last time I was here, rather than make me come back.His receptionist is a total wasko. Crazy woman. The days after my procedure when I got tested to see if I was pregnant. It was critical that I know on that date so I can stop taking the medication that he had me on. All day I am calling and no one will answer or call me back. I had my cell phone through texting dial the number. With the sprint voice leaving the message, she returned the message right… away. She maybe thought it was a lawyer office or something. I told her I wanted my pregnancy results. She casually with no regards said "oh it did not work, just stop taking everything."Since I was home for a week to make sure the procedure worked. My insurance for my job was sending papers for the dr to give information on what care I was under so I will not loose pay. Dr Loucopolous office never filled out the paper work. With numerous calls for them to fill it out. With them faxing and mailing and calling. I lost pay on my job for being away and they never filling out my company's request.In total, it was a horrible experience for me at this doctor. He and his receptionist are to peas in a pot.

Dr. Loucopoulos is an expert in infertility, he guided me through IVF and thanks to GOD and his care I have a little girl. Forever Grateful.

I have been seeing Dr. Loucopoulos for issues related to infertility. While he is not the type of doctor who sits down and listens to a woman who is going through infertility and then explores slowly all of her options, he is thorough in his understanding of factors that contribute to infertility, he gave me a very thorough evaluation and was gradual at stepping up the interventions for me as the need arose. His office staff is small but WONDERFUL and he returns test results quickly. He is a bit brusque at first, but he answers questions and has taken the time with me to be sure that I understand his instructions. He is quick to offer his opinion and is certainly the expert in the room, but I trust him completely and feel like he and I are in this fight together. He is not a doctor to pour out your soul to, but if you need a therapist, he can refer you to them. I recommend him VERY highly.
