Dr. Andrew Glenn Mahaffey, MD

Dr. Mahaffey was very fine but negligent in changing his gloves during my exam after leaving and returning to room-left me very stressed and got a blood test 2 weeks later-will need to repeat in 3 months. But the office/billing is dishonest/not upfront. It started when I called their office to set up an appt for possible biopsy (which wasn't needed nor done) and stated it would be self pay. They quoted me price of $140 and so I agreed and set up appt. I went into office and paid in full for the visit. Three weeks later, I get a bill from Lone Star Circle of Care (GT) that says I owe an additional $140 for a 'new patient' adjustment. They knew this when I first called to check on cost of visit (and I did not fill out paperwork for their sliding scale payment screening). I called billing about it and told them what I had been quoted and they said that was incorrect. They said that there is a minimum cost that the office should have taken ($150!) and then they bill me for the rest. NONE… of this was told to me on the phone when I asked...cause I did ask if that was the full cost of visit. Nor was it told to me when I paid and checked in. Waiting on supervisor to call me back.

I've been going to Dr. Mahaffey for 20 years. He's delivered my 18 year old, niece, nephew and grandkids. He's the best.

I would not go to anyone else he is a remarkable doctor !! Also his bedside manner is the best iv ever encountered . He really loves his patients and job!!! It's not just a job it's a passion!!!!!

Dr. Mahaffey has been my OB/Gyn for 20 years. I've never left an appointment feeling rushed out or hurried. Wait times are minimal although he occasionally has a baby delivery (hey - babies don't arrive on schedules!). He always takes the time to listen to everything and make you feel comfortable. I would recommend him to anyone and everyone. :)

He is amazing

He delivered both of my children! He did an awesome job and makes you feel very comfortable and has a great bed side manner!! He is the BEST!!

Even as an aging well-woman, he still gives me the time and attention I desire.

He was my Ob for my first pregnancy and will be for all the others. he was so cool about everything, even when i was a week overdue and didnt want to be prego anymore he did everything he could to get her out! which meant delivering her at 1am on his day off

Ive been seeing dr mahaffey for over five years. He was recommended by my BFF after delivering 2 of her babies. I am now pregnant and couldn't be happier that he is my doctor. He puts me at ease right away and spends as much time with me as I need. My husband also really likes him.

I would recommend Dr. Mahaffey to anyone, I had him in the begin of my pregnancy with my first, moved, two years later moved back and he remembered me, and lots of stuff about me. I was very impressed. He is very personable and helpful.
