This doctor botched a cosmetic surgery that he should have been very familiar with. He made an error in his professional judgement that even an untrained person could have predicted. I went to him to correct my gynecomastia which is composed of very dense glandular tissue. My assumption was that it would require an incision and removal of the tissue but his opinion was that liposuction was the better choice. Liposuction cannot remove such dense tissue and so instead of removing it during surgery he removed actual normal surrounding tissue and left a divot above my breast where he removed completely unrelated flesh, and left the problem completely intact. During the follow up he realized his grave mistake and offered another procedure free of charge in his clinic, at which point he tried to correct the situation with an incision. Because of the large amounts of tissue removed erroneously before, he was hesitant to remove the entire mass of glandular tissue and still left it in attempt… to balance out the overall appearance, at which he also failed and left the majority of the dense tissue. It is now several years later and I am more deformed than when I started, with $3,000 less in my pocket and in his instead.
