Dr. Andrew T Marshall, MD

Dr. Marshall’s office lacks complete professionalism. As a new patient I have tried to make a second appointment to be see by the Doctor. Let me start off by saying they do not have evening hours, which is difficult enough, so getting an appointment you have to work around their schedule. My attempts to be seen by the Doctor have been ongoing for the last month, at this point I have given up and will no longer be a patient of Dr. Marshall’s. One month ago, I called up and had to wait a week (understandably so) the day of my appointment, I recieved a call from his office informing me that the Doctor, was not feeling well and that we would have to reschedule for the following week- fine, Dr.’s get sick as well- yet again I understood. My frustration started to kick in when I showed up for my appointment and the entire office staff was frazzled and didn’t expect me to be there. With dumbfounded looks upon their faces they informed me that Dr. Marshall was on vacation, and told me my… appointment was for the following week. As frustrating as that was, driving 45 minutes out of my way, I tried to get again, understand (because after all, accidents do happen) and confirmed with them that my appointment was for the following week. My appointment was suppose to be for today, I recieved a phone call confirming that. Then mid day, I received another call from the office- and according to their voicemail, they asked me if I would accommodate them by making my appointment earlier (usually it’s the other way around where the doctor puts the effort in to see the patients.) I called them back, explained the distance and frustration and they advised me to keep my appointment as is. I even offered to show up as soon as I make my way in the neighborhood, which could have been 10-15 minutes earlier. This morning (day of appointment) I recieved a call from Dr. Marshall’s office yet again, asking me to move my appointment to accommodate the Doctor and if I was not able to they would have to cancel my appointment today. I explained to Rosa (one of the women in the office) my frustration, and how upsetting it’s been being a patient of Dr. Marshall’s and the best she was willing to do was to have me come in a week later, during the week, not during an evening hour- but that I the patient should yet again accommodate the doctor and move my schedule around, leave work early, drive 45 minutes out of my way- just for an appointment that I, the patient have been trying to attend for the last month. Due to my experience, and the lack of professionalism my advise would be to find a doctor who will make the patient a priority, because after all and at the end of the day, your health should come first, and I haven’t recieved that kind of care from this practice.

I found dr. marshall to be very caring and thorough. he spent about 35 minutes with me discussing all my medical concerns and he provided excellent advise. while his office manager / nurse can be a bit abrubt, why would anyone let a receptionist determine the quality of a doctor? i have already recommended several family members and friends to dr. marshall's office and each one of them thanked me for the introduction.

HAD ENDOSCOPY DONE AND THEY PUT THE WRONG INFO ON PATHOLOGY....NEEDED TO WAIT OVER A WEKK IN PAIN FOR RESULTS AND THEN STILL WOULD NOT DISCUSS WITHOUT ANOTHER APPOINTMENT.....ASKED FOR A CALL FROM DOCTOR AND WAS REFUSED !!!!!!! STAFF AND DR HAVE NO COMMUNICATION OR CARE FOR PATIENTS

Canceled appointment twice without reasonCompletely worthless staff

The receptionist is soooo unbearably rude. She is very unhelpful and has a serious attitude problem. The Doctor refuses to speak with patients if they have any questions. You basically have to spend money and make another appointment with him considering he doesnt ever ever follow up. The office is disorganized and the staff has no manners whatsoever. Do NOT go here.

Office Staff is a nightmare run by the rudest woman I've ever met. Everything is handwritten (appts, records...no computers!) so appts and records are lost. Went to see Marshall for my first colonoscopy ever. Marshall's colonoscopy machine broke down mid procedure. When I woke up, he told me to go right to a nearby clinic for a "special xray" because he could not finish the colonscopy. The clinic people told me he called and told them to do a barium enema on me but they saw no reason to put me through one and told him so! I never heard back from him and when I called a few days later to ask questions about what to do, the heavy rude office woman hung up on me! DO NOT GO HERE!!!
