Dr. Andrew Maser, DO

Dr Maser is an amazing doctor. He considers himself a doctor first and then a surgeon. I've suffered with lumbar back problems on and off for a number of years. After looking at my x-rays & MRI he decided to do a series of 3 caudal epidurals, approximately 3 weeks apart. After the 1st shot I had around 50% improvement. After the 2nd it went up to about 70%. I just had my 3rd shot and I am feeling great. Best my back has felt in years. He is very caring, and very professional. Explains everything so I can understand the procedure and what it's supposed to do. If you have back trouble but want to try more conservative treatments as opposed to jumping right in for surgery, then he's the one to go to.

I suffer from severe degenerative disc disease (they are mostly...gone) and have had 2 bad traffic accidents. As a result, I've had the, um, "pleasure" of 4 spine surgeries. Dr. Maser is very conservative and we exhausted several non-surgical options first. He is easy to talk to (he acts like a real person, not some god-surgeon from on high) and very compassionate. Most important, he's an excellent healer. When I talk to other medical people, and they ask, "Who did your surgeries?" and I mention Dr. Maser, they have all said, "Oh yeah, he's good." I continue to see him as my discs continue to degenerate and his treatments are excellent.

Dr Maser is fantastic. He has worked patiently with me for the past year concerning my back issues. He never gave up and I am currently almost pain free I would recommend him highly. He and his staff are always courteous and professional. I couldn’t be happier with the care I received and the results of my procedures.

Dr. Maser is the best back surgeon in the area in my opinion. He's honest. He's smart. I had a laminectomy 12 days ago. I had the surgery to relieve my left leg pain I had been experiencing for 5 months (this time). I tried all conservative treatment options and the pain was increasingly incredible. Dr. Maser treated me in office with injections also. The staff at the office is always great. Annie (his surgical assistant) is a amazing comfort and is always there for you like a friend. When I woke from surgery in recovery suite, the first thing I did was raise my leg, and the pain was already gone. I'm healing now, but I am happy to report I'm doing well and I'm so grateful to him. He has also done surgery on my family and friends all with success. He's there to help people and if he says he can help you.... rest assured you will get better. I wish there was a good way to Thank a surgeon. I'm guessing spreading the word is a small gesture I can do.

Dr. Maser is the best doctor I have ever been to. I have multiple medical problems and am under the care of many specialists. Dr Maser is not only compassionate at every apt, but also gentle and very skilled. He has been able to keep me pain free with his surgery and expertise.

Dr. Maser is a highly skilled surgeon who performed surgery on both me and my wife. While my surgery, a 4 level laminectomy, was not as extensive as my wife's spinal surgery, they were both highly successful and have improved our lives beyond our expectations. We came down to Fl to live and were quite anxious, as we were told that no one would be able to perform my wife's surgery on the Gulf Coast. They were wrong. Very wrong. Dr Maser and his PA, Annie worked out all of the intricacies of my wife's spinal surgery with exceptional results. Dr Maser and his staff have always been, courteous, kind, extremely knowledgeable and have always given both of us ample time to answer our many questions. This Dr has saved the quality of our lives and we will be forever grateful to him.

At first I found this doctor intelligent and somewhat caring, I had a few bulging discs, after years of trying to just make it through the day and doing everything to avoid surgery I was more or less forced by every doctor I tried to see to get surgery that I did not want, I went back to this doctor as he was one of few who took my insurance (medicare). He assured me after a double fusion in my back if I was a football player after 6 months I would be playing football once again, the surgery was 4 years ago, since surgery I have been un constant pain, I can hardly bend over, I am now in pain management which I had the surgery to avoid and am taking very strong narcotic pain relievers everyday because my life is in ruin. Dr. Maser was of no help 4 months after the surgery I have come to the conclusion he is conceeded, full of himself, does not care about his patients and their well being, He is just another knife happy surgeon doing and saying anything he can to get to cut. He tricked… me I feel, I am a young woman and was in my early 30s when he preformed surgery and now I hardly have any good quality of life, he lied to me and I have felt and thought about actually suing him, we will see,
