The old me wouldn't have said anything. But enough is enough. As if going to the emergency department isn't frustrating enough but to encounter a doctor who looks at me and only sees the fact that I am fat upset me. Really? Do you think I was not aware of this fact? But you didn't bother to ask questions. Had you even bothered you would have known the injury was from the gym. And by the way it's difficult to continue to go because of the injury so maybe saying I should go to the gym and workout as a suggestion on how to avoid further pain isn't such a good idea. Also maybe take the time to look at the notes. Because telling me that you don't like prescribing certain medications makes it seem like you assume I'm drug seeking. When the drug in question I specifically mentioned to the staff that I did not take them as they made me feel sick. You really need to work on how to talk to your patients and actually look at them like humans.
