Review for Dr. Andrew Varley Moczula – October 31st Incident I am deeply disappointed with the care I received under Dr. Andrew Varley Moczula. On October 31st, 2021, I was discharged after being told that I was experiencing a miscarriage at 15 weeks pregnant. I was instructed to take Cytotec as prescribed to complete the process, and Norco for pain management. I was assured that everything was under control, yet just two hours later, I was rushed back to the hospital in critical condition. I lost an alarming amount of blood and was deeply traumatized when I saw the fetus hanging from me. This situation could have been avoided if proper precautions had been taken before discharging me. The decision to send me home in such a vulnerable state led to further complications, and I had to undergo a four-hour surgery to stabilize my condition. I also required a blood transfusion and was admitted to the hospital for further care. The emotional and physical toll of this experience on me and… my family was immeasurable, and I feel that I was not given the proper medical attention or the care I deserved. I am profoundly disappointed in the lack of consideration and urgency regarding my health. This experience has left lasting scars, and I hope my review encourages better care for future patients in similar situations.

I am disappointed with my overall experience with this Doctor, and what I view as predatory billing practices. "Inflated Balance Billing" tactics used to make up for the lower negotiated rates with insurance companies on those of us who's insurance he does not accept earns him a poor rating as a care provider, in my opinion. He declined to accept my insurance after being contacted by my insurance provider.
