Incompetent. Said my vestibular condition was irreparable. Did not test me for problems. Wanted to prescribe very strong epilepsy medication for migraines. Did no tests to diagnose. Didn’t communicate with PT and OT. Turned out that I had a vestibular condition that could be helped. So glad I looked outside of OHSU for my care. Took years to get better, no thanks to Natonson.

I've had a whole slough of symptoms over the last few years, that didn't seem to go together or make sense. He took time to listen to me. After many appts and some much needed research/tests, I finally have a diagnosis. I'm extremely grateful. Great doctor.

Absolutely incompetent, he tried to change my diagnosis that was confirmed by five other specialist's that had 20 years of my care. He admitted that the new diagnosis was probably wrong but he tried to put me on a medication just to see what it would do anyway. After he gave me a full psychological examination which was unnecessary for my condition he tried to put me on medication for some far out diagnosis. I was only there for him to give me a second opinion on a MRI. I told him I don't think I will be taking that medication ,he said "take it don't take it I could'nt careless. I said i could go down the street to another neurologist and they would definitely disagree with you on this. He said "you know what they say talk to two neurologists get 4 different answers. Needless to say I had to just get out away from him and his staff.

Natonson needs to learn basic communication skills. I think he belongs in research and should not treat humans. He seems to have a very narrow skill set and a surprising lack of knowledge in his area of expertise (Alzheimer's/Memory Care.
