Dr. Andrew Nelson, "Andy," is a 2006 graduate of Bowdoin College (Brunswick, ME) where he received his BA in Chemistry, along with a minor in Economics.  He also lettered in both hockey and lacrosse in his four years at Bowdoin.  Dr. Nelson went on to receive his DMD degree from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in 2010 where he graduated Magna Cum Laude.  Dr. Nelson was also selected to be a member of the Omicron Kappa Upsilon chapter for his graduating class, given to students based on high scholarship, character, potential for leadership, professionalism, and ethics.  Dr. Nelson is very honored and excited to be practicing dentistry and he finds immense satisfaction in helping patients achieve optimal oral health.  He performs a variety of dental procedures from oral rehabilitation with crowns, implants, and dentures, to fillings and root canals.  Dr. Nelson is an active member in the American Dental Association and the Academy of General Dentistry.  …Away from the office Dr. Nelson enjoys spending time with his fiancee Amy, a soon-to-be pediatric dentist, and their long-haired Dachsund Max.  Dr. Nelson grew up right down the road in Marstons Mills and enjoys all that Cape Cod has to offer.  He stays active by biking and enjoys playing golf, hockey, and lacrosse.  He also loves the ocean and you may even see him out sailing on a warm summer day in Buzzards Bay.
