Dr. Andrew Neukirch

Andrew Neukirch, O.D. received his Doctor of Optometry from Indiana University in 2008. He earned his undergraduate degree in Chemistry in 2004 from Kansas University. Dr. Neukirch completed training in the areas of specialty contact lenses, pediatric optometry, ocular disease, orthokeratology, and specializes in myopia management. He served as the Chicago Member Director for the Independent Doctors of Optometric Care (IDOC) from 2013-2021. He has been published in several optometric journals and serves on the Professional Affairs Committee for CooperVision. In 2014, Dr. Neukirch was a recipient of the Vision Monday Optometric Business Innovator Award and was the recipient of the 2017 Illinois Optometric Association Young Optometrist of the Year Award. He frequently travels and lectures on the topics of contact lenses and practice management. He is the leading prescriber of MiSight 1 Day Contact Lenses for myopia management in the country, and the leading provider for myopia …management in the North Shore of Chicago. Dr. Neukirch and his wife, a physician at Northwest Community Hospital, their 4-year-old daughter, and their dog, Leo, reside in Glenview, Illinois. Dr. Neukirch is a former professional musician and in his free time enjoys photography and playing drums and percussion with friends.
