Dr. Andrew Patane, MD

He is a great doctor however to make an appointment to see him or have a question answered, good luck. He is way over booked and usually over a 2 month wait to see him.

Dr Patane is attentive and listens to all your issues while asking questions

I have been his patient since he starts at the Huntington Medical Group. Although I no longer live in Huntington, I go back to see Dr Patane & his nurse practitioners & staff. Wait time used to be awful as so many people want to see him, but they have gotten better at booking appointments. Dr Patane is always thorough, courteous, and helpful. He will refer you to other specialists as needed, but usually takes care of all my needs.

Dr. Patane is the best. He is incredibly knowledgeable, professional and thorough. He really cares about his patients and talks to them about his treatment rather than just handing out prescriptions with no explanation. He's also seen me when he should have been done for the day because he didn't like the sound of my symptoms.

Patane is very nice and warm on your first visit. After that he is hard to see. His staff is not helpful. He only wants the easy cases.

I stopped going to Dr. Patane when I had a 9:30pm appointment with him and I still had not seen him at 11:00pm. He constantly overbooks appointmnets. Despite being told on the phone and in person that I was in the hospital and wanted to see him, he never came to see me. Despite being one of his patients from the time he was in residency, he told me I wasn't one of his "regular" patients so he didn't need to see me. If you make an appointment with him, you will probably see one of his nurse practitioners (who are wonderful) and not him or wait over an hour. He is one of those doctors who thinks that because of his degree, he is superior to everyone else, even his staff had nothing nice to say about him. He has never followed up on any visits. He is totally disprectful of his patients

I have been going there to dr patanes office for a couple of years. I was referred after leaving he hospitalWith Chest pains. First of all chances are you will never see as I haven't you only get to see one of his nurse practitoners. I get test takin and never got a call back from there office you have to call them an the wait time to talk to ther secretary. Is usually at least 15-30 min. I would not go to him if you have a serous proplem.

I have had no luck with finding a good dr. Had a cpl of just bad ones over the years who never took the time and cared. Then one time i had gone into the hospital of LIJ and i had asked the ER doctor who they would rocommend, and they referred me to Dr Andrew Patane. I absolutely love this guy. My husband who never wants to go to drs also does as well. Yes there is usually a wait time in the office, but i do not mind for once because the reason is , he takes his time thoroughly with his patients instead of just rushing them out of the office writing prescriptions. I think he is amazing and caring and he is so informative as he explains everything and wants to help. So many dr's today lack these qualities of why youd think they should have to begin with to want to be a dr. But not him. We absolutely love him. After so many years of just bad drs. He is definatly a breath of fresh air.
