Dr. Andrew Sheffield Peters, DO

Im a current patient at cornerstone medical. My name is Roy Odom, ive been there for 6 or 7 visits, two I paid cash for waiting for my insurance to kick in. My experience has been less than steller, Dr.Peters has not ordered any blood work,no introductory physical, he has gave me grief over my medications precribed by doctors, including specislist who have more experience than he does yet he questions them. My last visit was the worst, note this man is leaving cornerstone, because of money,telling a patient this was in my opinion unproffessional, then he continued to tell me he wasnt te prescibing my methocarbonal, joint pain, or trazondone because i have sleep issues related to a demylanting autoimmune disorder. Then went as far as to describe my former doctors as candidates for law suites...really? Just who does this man think he is questioning doctors and specialists with more experience and educafion than he will ever have. Ive suffered for a month now, im a medical professional as… well working in a surgical services department on graveyard doing critcal work cleaning and assembling trays for surgery. Im also a veteran, who has worked hard his whole life and im almost 60, and this man has really showed a level of cruelty that astounds me, not only did he cut of my sleep meds, joint pain meds, he went to tell me my lack of sleep wont harm my health. Funny how NIH says different along with studies done by Mayo as well that lack of sleep and heart are linked n just dont care. And the few prescribtions he gives are only one refill at a time, so he keeps me running for my scripts, waiting around to get then filled after working all night at the hospital. This man has no shame, and his own words speak volumns. I hope wherever he ends up going for that big pay bump he was bragging about that they see him for what he is. A man too concerned about himself to precribe scheduled drugs even though 5 other doctors did. For shame. Thank you for your time Roy Odom
