Dr. Petlak has been my dentist for 30 years and now sees my husband and children, too. He is committed to professional development and continuing education thus providing excellent care to all of his patients. We never wait for our appointments, the staff is very conscientious, and Dr. Petlak is gentle. If you are looking for quality work and accurate diagnosis, see Dr. Petlak. During my initial visit, the dentist explained what needed to be done, the cost and number of visits I would need. I feel lucky to have finally found a dentist I can relate to.

A bit disconnected from the patient. Doesn't really tell you what is to be expected now or later. And the woman who works the desk is a bit overbearing. Speaks for the doctor while he is giving other directions and care. It can be confusing. Especially if the call is when the doctor is not available. Very frustrating and you wonder who's in charge.

He needs to communicate more. Sometimes he doesn't say anything about my kids teeth unless it's bad.
