Dr. Andrew Edward Pitt, MD

Unfortunately I am in complete agreement with the previous reviewer. The visit was to evaluate an eczema condition on the leg which was not improving in the last year or two. This issue was barely addressed except to provide another prescription. Again, many political remarks, totally inappropriate for an office visit, information concerning the fate of my previous doctor and another patient who had an extreme condition of something I myself had. She died recently, he said. Attention was turned to my face and without consent or warning he proceeded to spray. I knew nothing of this procedure. Nine spots later, he left the room without any aftercare advice or information regarding the pain that came later. His office staff was, however, Very helpful supplying information the next day when I called for advice. His techniques may be flawless, but his consideration of the patient is totally absent. I too would not return other than to another doctor in the clinic.

Dreadful experience. I took elderly mother for routine check. Dr. Pitt ranted the entire time about unpleasant politics. We had to interrupt him to discuss anything medical, then he would go right back to the rantings. He started to inject needle into her forehead to take biopsy without a word of what he was doing or why. She had a few spots of precancerous lesions and he haphazardly sprayed the cryotherapy all over like it was hairspray on hair, again without explaining what he was doing or why. Left the room without any follow up instructions. He is extremely unbalanced and unprofessional; unfortunately we don't even know if all the treatment was necessary. Will never go back.

Have had excellent results with Dr. Pitt. Has done beautiful work on my face...can't even see scaring from a large removal. Highly recommend. Has been great through the years.

Dr Pitt is extremely thorough and conscientious. I've been going to him for more than 10 years, and he does a great job taking care of my skin.

I have seen Dr. Pitt a number of times and his technical skills are excellent. But it is impossible to get an appointment with Dr. Pitt, even for an existing patient and even when there is a cause for immediate concern. His staff is not very prompt and not very professional.

Over time, we have visited Dr. Pitt a few times. He always knows what is wrong and offers options that are always 'spot on'--We highly recommend Dr. Pitt. I feel like he really cares about us, not like some dermatologists that want to get you on a monthly 'something'-Dr. Pitt fixes the problem if it can be fixed rather than string out a solution that just manages the issue rather than fix it. Love his approach and his staff is great!

Compassionate, caring and thorough.His humor helped me relax during surgical procedure. Explains things thoroughly. I'm very happy I found him.5 skin surgeries so far.

Dr. Andrew Pitt is exactly what I am looking for in a dermatologist--he's brilliant, explains things succinctly to the patient, works quickly and efficiently, and has a good sense of humor.
