Dr. Andrew Phillip Podos, MD

I just relocated to Naples and needed a pediatrician. I came across Dr. Podos. Very good with my child and was able to answer all my questions. Very calm and easy to work with. He pointed things out about my son health wise that I was not aware of. He was able to provide me with answers as to how to take care of the issues. If you need a pediatrician I highly recommend Dr. Podos.

My 2 year old has DiGeorge Syndrome, with heart complications. My 9 year old healthy. Dr. Podos pays close attention to detail, is patient and professional

Have been with Dr Podos since my children where little. He is an amazing Pediatrician!

I definitely am glad that he is not my son's regular doctor. We usually see the other doctor in his office, but this time she was out of the office, so we reluctantly accepted an appointment with Dr Podos. We were treated very rudely by the receptionist, and then treated poorly by Dr. Podos. Firstly, he doesn't have good bedside manner, especially for being a pediatrician. He seemed very impatient with our four year old. Secondly, he explained that my son had a common cold and to only bring him in again if he developed a fever, which he had, and if he had green discharge from his nose, which once again he also had. I'm a nurse, and have dealt with many physicians, none as unprofessional, unkind, or just straightforwardly rude as Dr. Podos. Save yourself time and trouble avoid this Dr. like the plague.

if I could rate this dr with 1/4 a star I wouldn't even do that. Dr Andrew Podos should change his profession. When you are a Dr, you should #1 always always always try to build a strong bond or relationship with your patients. #2 seem interested in your concerns. #3 DO NOT MISS DIAGNOSE your patients with EASE. My child was sick with a fever for 3 days and dr podos said its just a common cold. I had to go to the ER at NCH one of the suckiest places and they were more concerned then her own doctor. He doesn't even apologize when he gets this wrong. Also for my sister he miss diagnosed her son with a common cold and reflux well I bet you cant guess what happened next? he ended up having to get emergency surgery. The office staff is no better. They never call you back when you leave a message. So if you don't mind having a Dr who miss diagnoses' your child, and doesn't have any interest in getting to know your child and express any kind of emotion other than always being in a melancholy… mood and promptness in the since they want you out fast then this is the dr for you! Other wise don't go here

Great doctor

We have seen dr. Podos twice and both times I did not think his bedside manner was appropriate for a pediatrician. He was not warm towards my 3 year old son at all. He actually seemed impatient with a sick 3 year old. My son was also misdiagnosed both times as well. One time he had strep throat that Dr. Podos said was just a cold and the other time we ended up in the ER later in the day. Would not recommend him at all and we will not see him again. I would, however, recommend any of the other doctors in this practice.

I would definitely recommend this doctor. He is patient, kind, and gentle. Answers questions to the point and spends enough time with the children. The staff is courteous and professional. I have been taking my children to see him since 2008. They've been able to schedule me in within the hour after calling when it was serious. So I can not imagine how they would refuse a patient if it were more of an emergency. Our entire family is very happy with the service that Dr. Podos provides.

After visiting with many different doctors offices and doctors my husband and I chose Dr. Podos with Anchor Pediatrics. The nurses and entire staff are VERY professional. The waiting room is lovely, VERY clean and inviting. I love that there is a separate waiting area for new borns and infants. The doctor is very patient, kind and professional with my little girl now 2 years young! :) I cant see us seeing any other doctor... and we have seen other doctors while we've traveled to Canada but Dr.Podos and his staff are truly the best!
