Dr. Andrew Michael Razin, MD

Long wait time, too expensive, misdiagnosis & over medicating. Dr. Razin is good at faking empathy when you are vulnerable, this leads to control, more manipulation & dependency, not actual help or care. He will judge you & misdiagnose & overmedicate you until you can barely function from drug sedation. He is incompetent & will not take accountability for the damage he causes. He should not have a license.

I have been a patient of Dr. Razin's for over 16 years. It took me a little while to open up to him because he is more reserved than my therapist was. Then, one time I was at rock bottom along with despair and the end of my rope. He was so sincerely worried about me, I knew that he really cared when he stopped, put his hand on mine and said "don't worry, we're going to get through this". He was so serious and actually got through to me. Well, I'm still here and that alone is a miracle. As for his medication abilities, he is quite knowledgeable about all of them and listens to me and my opinion. As for the potential for weight gain, almost every RX has that side effect possibility. I highly recommend Dr. Razin for his knowledge, compassion and dedication to his patients.

I have been seeing Dr.Razin for many years. After he stabilized my depressive moods with the right medication, I have found that six month visits are valuable to discuss current life issues and situations that arise. I feel that I am indeed fortunate to have met him. He is interesting, intelligent, open and friendly. Most importantly, he aids one in facing up the the challenges of life. I feel that I can share anything and everything with him and that I always have his full attention and empathy. By all means, work with him.

Himself as well as Ellen Lazarus are the most caring doctor and nurse I have ever come across. Best and most accurate in the business.

Disturbingly arrogant and self-serving. More interested in satisfying his own ego than helping those of others. Someone to avoid.

Andrew Raizin is a terrible psychiatrist. His manner is arrogant and condescending, made even more so by his attempt to look and act like Freud. He knows how to prescribe drugs, but his sorry manner of dispensing his knowledge makes him someone to avoid.
