Dr. Andrew Burton Reese

it started out ok and the Dr was cordial and I suppose professional enough during the general exam-my first for medicare. Then I began dealing with the incompetent office staff. They called to verify where I wanted a Rx filled and I told them. The Rx was never called in. I asked to speak on the phone about a few questions I had about that Rx but was not afforded that courtesy-they said I was going to have to make another appointment to come in to office and have the Dr discuss with me. I got the feeling that this was first an insurance billing operation and second it was a Dr office. I won't go back-it was awful dealing with that office staff. Too bad-I liked Dr!

I had to changed my Doctor from Dr.Timothy Ryan to Dr.Andrew Reese.I was unsure how I would feel about seeing a New Doctor after being with Dr.Ryan for 20 years.At my first appointment Dr.Reese told me to stop Drink Soda.Which I have not.His staff is Okay.But not like they use to be when Dr.Ryan was in charge of Lifecare.I have had to see Dr.Reese only a few times ,a couple of times only to obtain clearance for Surgery.I was not very happy with the way I was treated.I am thinking about looking for a New Doctor.But I do not want to go to a Doctor's office that is owned by Finger Lakes Health.But where can I go? I just want a Doctor who is willing to listen to me and not pass judgement.

Very unprofessional. He always acts like he does not care what I tell him and when he is done leaves without saying good bye or anything. He didn't even know about the probs I been having and he is my doctor. I missed 2 appointments this year and he wanted to stop seeing me. Very bad doctor I have very serious things going on. I don't have a car so this is the only place I can go to.

Dr Reese listened to me and has excellent patient care. I felt comfortable to communicate my needs and concerns !

I switched to Dr. Reese to get a fresh opinion of my health and plan of attack to improve it. During my first visit he scheduled a colonoscopy (just turned 50) and a sleep apnea test which had never been suggested. We also went over a exercise and diet plan to avoid sliding towards diabetes. One visit and he was changing the direction of my health. After a 3 month follow-up he scheduled the next appt. for 6 months, all previous Primary Care Providers kept a 3 mo. rotation, more for their benefit. I am very pleased with Dr. Reese and the staff in Waterloo and am recommending him to my family members!
