Dr. Andrew Jordan Ross, MD

Dr. Ross breached the standard of care when I was pregnant with my son. I had the Mirena IUD and began bleeding and cramping. I called Dr. Ross stating that I was concerned I had an ectopic pregnancy or that my IUD had migrated and was cutting into me, and he said that I was just getting my cycle back and not to worry (he never saw me or checked me out to make this determination). After 10 days, I’m still bleeding and call Dr. Ross again. He prescribes additional low progestin oral birth control and tells me to take ibuprofen every 6 hours to help with the bleeding. Still, he doesn’t have me come in, and he does not personally check me out. I take the full cycle of birth control and still the bleeding doesn’t stop. I make additional calls, but Dr. Ross still will not see me. Finally, fed up with Dr. Ross’ inability to help me or see me, I go to urgent care. There I find out I was pregnant and was 7 weeks, 5 days along into the pregnancy. When I finally got in to see Dr. Ross he had the… audacity to ask how I happened to find out I was pregnant. The IUD had perforated my placenta. I bled my entire pregnancy. I had blood clots that I passed the size of grapefruits. I was in and out of the ER my entire pregnancy. I was hospitalized at 22 weeks, required a blood transfusion from losing so much blood, and I remained in the hospital until my son was delivered at 26 weeks, 2 days. My son was strong and such a fighter, but he ended up passing away after 30 days in the NICU. Dr. Ross ruined my life. Every day is a struggle for me. He ruined my husband’s and daughter’s life as well. He showed no remorse for the breach in standard of care. I warn you to not trust Dr. Ross

A doctor I can trust

This is my second pregnancy and the care I have received this time around from Dr. Ross is sensational!! He puts my mind at ease and spends time answering each of my questions in great length. He is an amazing doctor and I wish there were more like him!!

I have been going to Mountain Vista Woman's Care since I was 18 yrs. old and now I am at that age that Hormone Therapy is staring me in the face. Dr. Ross was very patient with me and went over all of my options, risks and benefits. I feel very comfortable with Dr. Ross and the treatment he started me on. I feel wonderful. I have also seen Shelby the NP and she is just as wonderful! I will always be a patient of Dr. Ross.

I'll start by saying I hate going to the doctor, especially the gynecologist, but my experience at Mountain Vista Women's Care in Englewood was outstanding. Joan Girard was incredibly kind and helpful, and Dr. Andrew Ross was wonderful! He really took the time to explain everything to me and make sure I was comfortable and informed, both before and during my procedure. The office staff and nurses are friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient. The office is clean and well-maintained. I wouldnâ??t go anywhere else!
