Dr. Andrew Todd Saltzman, MD

Went to an urgent care first for a knee injury I had while on vacation, but the NP said my knee needed to be drained and I needed a Cortisone shot. She said she didn't have time for me so she called and got me in to see Dr. Saltman that afternoon. Dr. Saltzman has been great to work with over the many years I've been going to him for my knees and hips. He's replaced both of my hips. Skipping the urgent care next time

Saw the NP for a cortisone shot in my shoulder. Him and the ultrasound tech. were awesome. Tristate Orthopedic has replaced my hip and knee. I would never go anywhere else. I would highly recommend Dr. Saltzman and his crew!

Saw Dr. Saltzman for 3 month post hip replacement but now having pain other hip. So worried I need another surgery but Dr got X-rays and determined it’s bursitis. He was kind and friendly. I have trust in his expertise. Left office much relieved.

I saw a Nurse Practitioner, and he was helpful, but we didn’t have a clear reason why I had this appointment. It might have been better if I had actually talked to Dr. Saltzman. I had previously seen him for treatment of pain in my back and right leg; I thought this was a follow-up to that. It ended up that they x-rayed my left leg/knee area; Dr. Saltzman has been following my knee “health” following bilateral knee replacement surgery in 2000 (performed by another physician, now retired).

I have been Dr. Saltzman’s patient for about 4 years. In that time, he has been treating me for knee pain. He has been very professional and helpful in recommending the best treatment for me. He has been very patient and is very direct about next steps which I appreciate very much. Dr.Saltzman is a very experienced and competent doctor.

Dr Saltzman and his PA Dan were amazing, they were both professional, thorough, asked plenty of questions to understand me and what was bothering me. Took time to make sure they had accurate tests completed to give me their most valuable opinion on my situation and what will or could help. I am a very satisfied patient .

I came to Dr. Saltzman for a shoulder problem. I've been to him for my knees and he has replaced both of my hips. Very friendly and between him and his NP I get a complete exam and diagnosis of my problem. He gives me all my options and answers all my questions. I decided to have a shoulder operation and he gave me a list of doctors from Tri-State Orthopedics to see. He no longer operates on shoulders. I will still see him for my knees and hips.

Dr. Saltzman is treating for knee pain and I am quite pleased with my care thus far. Every appt begins on time and nurses are quick to collect the needed information. He will listen to me and then begin the assessment phase. I never feel rushed. Thank you for you care. Jo Miley
