Dr. Andrew Todd Saterbak, MD

I sincerely believe if it wasn't for Dr. Saterbak and his team, my husband wouldn't be walking! He performed 2 major surgeries on my husband within 9 months with great success.

Performed Arthroscopic surgery on a knee. Stated I had more cartilage than average so had plenty left over after surgery. Another surgeon who had been practicing longer than Saterbak stated from the MRI, my cartilage was completely gone inside half of my knee. The surgery was horrible. Huge bruises on my thigh inside and out. did not check on me in the outpatient recovery room. Was in extreme pain when I woke up. A nurse on duty gave me a shot for pain. Then switched shifts right away and the new nurse made me walk on my leg while I was still in extreme pain. In the meantime, Saterbak discussed my surgery with someone other than my partner. When I made complaints about infection he did nothing. I have been suffering from lymphedema ever since.

Dr Saterbak has performed 3 ortho surgeries on me and I think he is very precise in what he does. He has exceptional care for his patients and is a good listener. You couldn't ask for a better orthopedic surgeon.

This doctor misdiagnosed my Dad's hospital acquired infection which resulted in my Dad's death. Despite numerous phone calls made by my Mom and siblings, Dr. Saterbak ignored my Dad's excruciating pain and said to continue to take his pain pills knowing that the pain pills did not work. When we finally went to the Mayo my Dad was filled with infection, which we pointed out to Dr. Saterbak weeks ago. My parents, in my opinion, were treated with elderly discrimination and were ignored which resulted in an unbearable loss.
