I am going to call every agency in the State of NJ against Dr. Sattel. My initial injury was in 2003 where I crushed my bones in my wrist and had surgery by an excellent physician in FL. I moved to NJ and went to Dr. Sattel to remove scar tissue after pain in my wrist. He did 4 surgeries on my in 2013 and 2014. The first and second surgery he removed scar tissue where there was no scar tissue. The third surgery WAS in 2014 and while he was doing the surgery he could not find a plate too fit and he put a plate too big. He also did not stitch me up completely and I went to him the day after the surgery because of blood all over my bandage. Instead of sewing me up correctly he sent me to physical therapy which caused an infection because the physical therapist put my hand in a whirl pull. He did surgery for the infection and the screws popped out because the plate was too big. My hand became so enlarged and the wrist in my hand so painful I had to go on complete DISABILITY. I finally… had an MRI done in 2017 TO FIND OUT HE DID A PARTIAL BONE FUSION INSTEAD OF A TOTAL BONE INFUSION WHICH IS CAUSING ME EXTREME PAIN IN MY ARM. I WILL DO EVERYTHING IN MY POWER TO MAKE SURE THIS DOCTOR NEVER PRACTICES AGAIN!!!

Surprised to read the reviews as they didn't describe my experience with Dr. Sattel and his staff over the course of several years. They are all terrific and I have recommended him and his office to a friend who was happy with his experience as well.

This doctor & his care staff are terrible. I had an issue with the service provided and have placed many calls to speak to the doctor and still no response. I keep getting shuttled back to billing, and in their defense, they've been tasked with speaking for a doctor who doesn't care about the service he provides. Do you want a doctor like that?
