Dr. Schachter has been our family physician for over 20 years. He is very caring, devoted to his patients, detailed and respectful.

ITS TIME TO RETIRE

Twice this doctor office has charged (my wife) and I for treatment and care that was not rendered. Perhaps Dr. Schachter considers himself a business man first and a doctor second. Be aware of what you are seeing him for and make sure you take notes. Twice we were billed for treatment and care not rendered and the first time it took many months to get it straightened out and the second time they refused to fix the issue which eventually cost us a lot of money and a hit to our credit for not paying for care not rendered. The office manager was not willing to help with the issue the second time and has not returned our calls. Please take notes if you do see this doctor so that you can refer to them later when you are told you had a treatment that you never had.

Does not diagnose illness properly; does not take a proper medical history; staff is very rude.

Dr. Schachter has been my physician since 1995. In a world of "rush rush - see as many patients as you can", Dr. Schachter takes the time to do a thorough exam and talk to you about any concerns that you might have. He never rushed me out the door. He visits his patients at the hospital, too.

I have been a patient of Dr. Schachter's for fifteen years, and I am consistently happy with the care I've received. The staff has always been able to fit me in, right away, whenever I've needed medical care, and Dr.Schachter has a nice rapport with his patients.
