Dr. Andrew Joseph Schiavoni, MD

Excellent, thorough, experienced and very knowledgeable

Dr. Schiavoni chewed me out on the phone exclaiming that he doesn’t have time to talk to his patients. He continually interrupted me saying that he does not have enough time in the day to discuss health issues over the phone. I was contacting him only because he sent the wrong prescription to my pharmacy. I wanted Dr. Schiavoni at Denver Family Medicine to work out as a healthcare provider, but it just does not. I, the patient, was made to maintain professionalism while Dr. Schiavoni’s nurse (Cynthia) repeatedly made fun of my size during two separate visits, dangerously misread my blood pressure, & suspiciously asked for very personal medical samples that have not been/will not be ordered by the doctor. There is a lack of basic understanding, empathy, and care.

Dr. Schiavoni is one of the best family physicians I have ever been to. He was very courteous, knowledgeable, friendly and seemed generally concerned about my health when I went in for a physical. While I can't say the same for the staff at Denver Family Medicine, I will continue going there simply because Dr. Schiavoni is there. I highly recommend him.
