Doctor is NEVER on time. Always 40-50 minutes late.

Even when I'm early and or on time, I still have to wait 40 minutes in the room just to have a 10 minute session.

i was sent to Dr Scrogin's office when my family doctor recommended that i go back on Androgel. i was on this medication from 2009-2012 but stopped because my insurance stopped covering it and $500 a month was simply too expensive for my budget. now in 2017 there is a generic it was time to go back on it. i spent TWO YEARS going to see Dr Scrogin every 3-6 months and every visit it was like the first with him. he would explain that my testosterone was low but that my insurance wouldn't cover it and i would explain that i would pay out of pocket. he would draw blood and we'd wait until the next visit when he would tell me that my testosterone was low and getting lower. that's when i would remind him that that's exactly why i'm seeing him; to get back on replacement therapy. he would say something like, "we should do more labs and we'll discuss it on our next visit. your insurance won’t cover it.” i already knew this because he reminded me of this three times a year. this went… on for TWO YEARS. i finally insisted that i needed this prescription or i would see another office. he then ordered another blood test. they didn't ship my blood out on the friday it was drawn so my test was null and void. they told me i had to go back to the hospital for the draw and then sent the wrong blood order. they sent an order for five vials of blood when they just needed one of the five. i caught this before they drew and they were surprised at their own oversight but offered no apology or even acknowledged their accountability. i guess it’s no big deal to draw four extra vials of blood on a patient that they don’t need. astounding! after they received the results back i got a phone call saying that Dr Scrogin would prescribe Viagra for me. i've never been prescribed Viagra before and i told the nurse this was regarding Androgel. it became clear to me that this office was as incompetent as Dr Scrogin. i told them that i was leaving their office. once i found a new doctor i called Scrogin's office to get them to send my TWO YEARS of testing over to the new doc and they refused. they said i had to mail them their proprietary paperwork. i told them i'd be happy to either come in and pick up my chart myself, as i paid for it, or they could send it to my new physician. they refused and said they had to go through a separate agency to get fax the files over and that i needed to fill out their special form. this process was going to take two to four weeks. they would not budge on this. i filled out the required paperwork and guess what happened when i showed up to my first visit with my new doctor? they didn't fax the paperwork over. be very very careful dealing with this office. unless you like having your time wasted, have blood draw after blood draw (some draws being incorrect or mishandled; both happened to me in this office), and having your chart held hostage, i would seek out a competent doctor and office.

Very thorough

Insulted me numerous times when I was a patient, despite trying my best. Offered no help whatsoever... Eventually I suffered from pancreatitis and he threw it in my face in the rudest way. No empathy. I came up with a way to help myself, and I succeeded. Even one of my other physicians was aware of his condescending attitude...

Dr. Scroggin was very nice and addressed my problem with patience, an open mind and I was very satisfied with the treatment he offered my. It wasn't all about making the "Benjamins" - he really was concerned about me. W. Baldwin

Ignored simple medical test results and provided a misdiagnosis.

Choosing to go to Dr. Scrogin was one of the worst decisions I've ever made. His protocol caused me to develop Hashimoto's auto immune disease, a lifelong illness. And what's worse? He then lied to me, trying to prevent me from knowing about this illness because of a potential malpractice suit. It sounds crazy, but he was trying to keep it a secret, and just have me come in for medicine to treat the illness that he caused! He's a snake. He's not trustworthy. You don't want his health advice.
