Incompetent!!!

Chesapeake Urology is AWFUL!. I've been twice. Both times, at over an hour wait, I had to leave. The staff at this particular office, (at least 3 people), with 1 patient in the waiting room took 1/2 hour just to acknowledge the patient sign-in board, meanwhile jabbering about hair weaves vs. wigs, and what patient might be stalking her.. very unprofessional! They demand payment at time of service, in spite of agreements with insurance companies, i.e. EHP. They have anti-patient signs in the office about BEING ON TIME or else! They are GREEDY! I wish I could give a positive review.

Absolutely excellent physician with a lot of knowledge.,made me feel extremely comfortable in a very uncomfotable setting. I am a nurse and Dr. Shapiro explained everything with unbelievable ease and I walk away knowing more about what was going on with me. Highly highly recommend Dr. Shapiro!!

I never had a problem with doctor Shapiro until today. I was scheduled for an annual Check up at 3.45 pm. Knowing it was too close to the closing time ...

would choose again; would recommend.

Dr Shapiro is a professional's professional. He assessed the level of understanding of both the patient and her caregivers at each appointment, and was willing and able to answer all our questions. His consultations were thorough, providing downsides as completely as upsides to each procedure discussed, and easily was on the same page with necessary care.

From the moment you step into the office, you are greeted with a smile and a hello. The office staff is always very nice, helpful, and supportive. The nurses are also very nice and supportive. Dr. Shapiro is very kind and patient. He really is very gentle and understands patients with anxiety issues. I have had many positive experiences with Dr. Shapiro and his staff and would strongly recommend him to anyone who needs a knowledgable,caring, and compassionate urologist.
