Dr. Andrew Yeckes Silverman, MD

Dr. Silverman took care of my mother when she wanted to have a daughter. I just went to him, because I also want a daughter, now that I have a 2 year old son. I found him to be patient, understanding, and willing to work with me, even though I don't take any pills. I wouldn't take the medication he wanted me to, and he was cool about it, explaining to me why I should, and then respecting my decision not to. My mother and I recommend him highly for gynecologic problems, infertility and gender selection

Dr. Silverman is very thorough and follows through on areas he deems worthy of concern. He definitely knows his stuff! He's very patient and courteous and always has several alternatives for suggested care. I have been very pleased with Dr. Silverman and his staff. He has been right with his diagnosis with me thus far.

Dr. Silverman is the type of physician you would drive 40 minutes to see. Professional, up to date, empathetic and humorous- I will see him as a patient until the day he retires. He is "a doctor's doctor," meaning the one physicians have care for their family and themselves. How do I know this? Because I am one!

In the past year, I've seen about 8 highly rated gynecologists in the New York metropolitan area, trying to find the right one to help me combat BV. Dr. Silverman is the only one who has had the approach I've been looking for: innovative, but experienced, and logical. He is extremely knowledgeable and caring, and he sees the "big picture". I can't recommend him higher, especially if you feel like you aren't receiving the solutions or care you need elsewhere.

Dr Silverman made me feel at ease after not seeing a gyn for many years. The exam was thorough and because he is an infertility spec. I recommended by daugther. Will be back next appt.

Went for sperm sorting to balance family. After three cycles and 8000.00+ had my third girl anyway. Live and learn. Love the kid, was hoping for a son. NOTE: after giving a sample, and with the wife in stirrups, Dr. Silverman told me his had raised his price and "did I want to continue." Also, never followed up with us to see what the gender of the baby was. I thought this was odd for someone "pioneering" a field.
