I was treated by Dr. Slavin during the Covid-19 pandemic. The office was immaculate and the staff followed the strict CDC guidelines. I required an extensive tooth extraction which I was very fearful of. Dr. Slavin and his staff had a very soothing and calming effect.The surgery went very well. Had suffered with tmj disorder for a year. Went to a variety of dentists/specialists who recommended Botox, mouth guards, muscle relaxants, physical therapy, foot lifts(!!!) - all to no avail. Dr. Slavin said he could solve it with a 'lavage' of the joint -- and he did. A year and a 1/2 later-- and it's still totally gone. Other dentists don't seem to even know about this procedure. But it sure worked for me. And, by the way, he is surrounded by the warmest, friendliest staff I've ever experienced. They obviously know that walking into an oral surgeon's office is stressful. They sure do make it easy!
