Dr. Andrew Solkovits, DO

Morgan is fabulous as our PA, but the office staff really needs to work on their organization skills. Anything that requires follow up for work outside of an office visit is non-existent. I have had to coordinate any referrals needed from this office and it has taken way too long for specialist referrals, meds , ect. Its Billing has sent me to collections multiple times before I even get a bill. That is an office management problem. I hope Dr. Solkovits can hire an office manager who can do their job. And train their staff to follow up on any referrals, prior auths, etc. 3 Daughters working for him...isn't that nepotism or a conflict in interest in our CARE!

I recently was sent a bill for $50 due to an appointment cancellation. The scenario goes like this on the day of my appointment was very sick and it was at 3:30 and I had laid down on the couch and hour before the appointment. Unfortunately I dozed off and when I woke up it was 3:25! So I jumped up and thought I better call and tell him to be about 10 minutes late. When I get the receptionist and tell her I’m so sorry I’ll be about 10 minutes late she told me I could not come in. I said I’m really sorry and I’m really sick I can get there in 10 minutes. No you can’t come in . And I said well then can I make an appointment for tomorrow so I’m really sick we can’t get you in for another two days really !!! What happened to medicine ?? If I had a called I would’ve been a little bit late and nothing would’ve been said but out of courtesy I just want to let them know I was on my way and I was turned away . Hardly ever go to the doctor and go in there for years and have never missed… appointment. And I get a bill for $50 for not showing up for my appointment that I really did need and would’ve been there just a little late. My name is Brendadavies I’ve known Dr Solkovits she was a resident and I always looked up to him as being a true meaning of a doctor I’ve lost a little faith .

Andy is an amazing well educated and new age medical professional. He has guided me through all of my health issues with care wisdom and love. I am 72 soon and the main reason I stay in this area is that I just love my doctor, and trust him. If you end up seeing andy you are in the hands of the best Family doctor in Northern California. Thank your lucky stars. He is a super caring physician skilled and has kept me alive all these years. That's what's its about quality of life, with the best medical advise possible. Plus 10 in every way.

Best doctor in Redding.

Relies heavily on staff. Staff lacks sufficient time/followup procedures to assure Faxed prescriptions to local pharmacies are received. Patient frequently has to go to office to request staff to followup on prescription orders.

Excellent physician. Very nice, thorough, and follows up.

Dr. Solkovits is great.

He is a great listener and explains everything throughly during the office visit. the office staff is very welcoming and friendly and the PA's are knowledgable and everyone has a wonderful bedside manner.
