Very good and caring doctor. I'm extremely satisfied.

Today I saw Dr. Andrew St.Martin and I do use the term Dr. loosely . I was requesting orders for a cervical MRI since this is a requirement in order for steroid epidural injections to be administered. I have a 23 year record of back issues and with age and heavy physical activity my condition has worsened. Three years ago I found the amazing Dr. Patrick Waring. He believes in treating and healing not medicating the problem. Unfortunately after living three years pain free I now am in need of more steroid treatment. ANDREW ST.MARTIN refused to write the orders saying he didn't think I needed an MRI and that they are expensive. I know my body and what I'm feeling. I would totallly not recommend this man who I can NOT call a doctor. People like him give OCHSNER a bad name. This is why I go to urgent care on 51. These doctors are professional and accurate. Sorry to say they can't write orders for test! ??

He really cares a lot about each and every patient that he sees. He shows that he truly cares a lot for his patients and is truly one of the best doctors out there.

He has taken on too many new patients. Wait time for appointments is weeks long. He does not promptly return calls for questions or to call in refills. He does not respond through his own patient portal.

Dr. St. Martin is the exception to what some patients think of the medical proffession today. He reminds me of the doctors of yesteryear: patient, kind, compassionate. His bedside manner lets his patients know he is there for them in everyway. I have been a patient for at least 8 years, he is right on target when he diagnoses the problem, is aware of his patients needs and goes out of his way to make sure the patient understands and is able to continue to heed his suggestions when they leave his office. All of this with a smile and a tremenous sense of humor. You can tell he loves what he does and the patients he serves. Wonderful Dr., great man!

Dr. St Martin is a very excelent De. If he can not help u he sends u to someone who can... He is up on current meds. He is one of the best we have had and the Staff is the office is great!!!!

I like the doctor, he has good "bedside manner" but I did not have good service experience on the telephone with the staff. The med tech and nurses seemed to be harried and snappish (I spoke to both on the tele). I had to have forms filled by the doctor, and had to return later to pick them up in the day--the forms were not ready when I returned at the appointed time. May not seem to be much problem, but I was very ill and had to drive many miles to drop off and pick up forms. When I did get the forms, the med techs made several mistakes in handling the documents.(in areas they needed to complete, not the doctor). I suggest any other patient of the good doctor be careful proofing of documents before you leave the office to avoid returning, several times for them to "get it right" even if the staff tells you "everything is in order".

Dr. StMartin has been WONDERFUL!! I have been seeing him for quite a few years now and I would not change Dr's for anything. HE IS THE BEST!! He always takes all the time you need with him and tries his best to make things better for you.The only thing I would change is that he needs an email for incase we need to discuss something with him that may not be an emergency yet he may not have an open appointment for that day.
