Dr. Andrew Marc Tetro, MD

After taking a whole day off and driving 2 hours each way, and a very long wait at the office, I saw a PA who was very dismissive. He explained to me all the damage to my shoulder on my MRI and what surgical proceedures needed to be done. He then ordered physical therapy and told me not to come back. His explaination being that my age, 57 by the way, it wasn’t worth fixing. He repeatedly mentioned my age. He talked over me when I tried to speak, basically I felt dismissed and not worth his time. He told me if I wanted to come back to do so on a Tuesday or Wednesday, early so the PA could consult with Dr. Tetro himself. I was looking for answers for my shoulder pain, that is why i drove 2 hours to see a specialist. All I got was a talking head who made me feel old and worthless. I would like to be able to continue to work at least until retirement age....... but to him 57 was just too old to bother with.

I had an 11:30am appointment with Dr. Tetro and came 30 minutes early as requested. I wasn't put into a waiting room until 12:40 pm and not yet seen by almost 1:30 pm. I told the receptionist I was leaving and she said ok. Approximately 5 minutes later she called me and told me I had to come in because they were ready to see me. I told her no because 2 hour wait is too long and I have better things to do! I explained I had to work and in mid sentence she hung up on me! Very rude and I will never step foot in that office again! Too bad because I didnt even meet the doctor and was told he is awesome! Thanks to the staff they will lose my business.

I had a horrible experience with this doctor and his practice. I waited hours only to be told they couldn't verify my WC claim, when the paperwork had been sent days in advance. Then they were crazy rude about it, like I was lying about having a claim. I had NYS WC paperwork in hand. In short, the doctor seems to have good ratings, but the mismanagement by office staff was unreal. I wouldn't touch these guys with a 100 foot pole.

The staff here are professional and friendly. Dr. Tetro, Jason and Anish have always been kind to me and patient with me. I've had operations on both hands and one elbow. I went to another Dr. Before Dr. Tetro. I wish I'd known about this place first! Rehabilitation took place there as well. All services have been excellent !

Dr. Tetro and his team were fabulous. He quickly and accurately identified my problems (that 2 other orthopedic surgeons could never find) and immediately began to treat my problem. I ultimately need surgery which completely cured my problem. I have sent 2 other family members with similar shoulder problems - and they are both back to 100% normal health. Dr Tetro, Anish & Jason are amazing !!! Sometimes we waited up to 30 minutes but it was well worth the wait.

Simply put... the best of the best.

Dr tetro is a great doctor he already operated on my right rotator cuff and his staff are very nice people..... I am going back to tetro this coming monday for surgery on my left rotator cuff he is a great doctor and i would recommend him to anybody...

after two surgerys i am left worse off then i was before surgery, considering legal action stay away.

Dr. Tetro was very proffesional and right away realized i had been misdiagnosed at my doctors office. I would recomend him to anyone, he was a good choice for me.
