Dr. Timothy Andrew Thompson

Andrew Thompson is an experienced dentist and had the latest equipment (Cerec Crown making, laser, high -res digital dental xrays). Unfortunately, he has screwed up in his dental diagnosis several times. To wit: 1. He misdiagnosed a decay under a bridge as "nothing"; a few months later that bridge had to be removed by another dentist because the anchor tooth was severely decayed; so much for his "it is nothing" misdiagnosis. 2. Again he misdiagnosed a severely decayed tooth that was an anchor tooth for a bridge as "nothing; it will will go away". Two months later the bridge had to be removed because it was severely decayed and painful. Worse yet, it had to be extracted by another dentist and I had to pay for a 4-tooth bridge (most bridges involve three teeth, i.e. two anchor teeth and the missing tooth). 3. A few years ago he again misdiagnosed a perfectly health tooth in a bridge as needing removal, new bridge, etc. Four years later, that bridge and its two anchor teeth seem to be… perfectly fine and in no need of dental work. 4. His office staff is aloof behind a facade of friendliness. 5. His prices are much higher than other dentists in that same geographical area. Bridges and crowns are grossly overpriced by comparison. 6. He is closed for three days each week (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday). His voicemail is useless as my calls have not been returned, and there was no referral to another dentist over those three days each week.
