Dr. Andrew A Thuernagle

Dr. Andrew A. Thuernagle, D.M.D.
Dr. Thuernagle grew up in a family of seven children and quickly learned to enjoy working with and being around people.  Being raised in Southeastern Idaho, he also spent a lot of time outdoors.  Some of his favorite outdoor activities include:  mountain biking, rock climbing, hiking, camping, and water sports.  Dr. Thuernagle was an all-around athlete in high school, lettering in track, basketball, and football.  He still continues to be involved with athletics and enjoys coaching and cheering for his children in their games. 
Dr. Thuernagle graduated from Idaho State University with a degree in Microbiology.  Following ISU, he attended Case Western University School of Dental Medicine in Cleveland, Ohio.  While at dental school, he quickly earned the respect of his fellow classmates as well as his professors for his exceptional abilities in the clinic.  At graduation, he was awarded the American Academy of Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology …Award as well as the Dean's Clinical Scholarship Award for "exceptional clinical achievements."  He now brings his experience, abilities, and attention to detail home to his own practice where he makes his patients' health, comfort, and beautiful smile his top priority. 
At the end of each day, Dr. Thuernagle looks forward to spending time with his sweetheart, and their five children. From walking the Nampa greenbelt, to attending functions at the Civic Center, or hiking in the Owyhees...there is always something great to do as a family in Nampa, Idaho.  With five children, life is ever full and active at the Thuernagle house, and Dr. Thuernagle and his family are excited to be a part of this great community.
