After reading his remarks about pain meds not improving quality of life for pain patients, I knew he is another self - absorbed doctor that disregards patients feelings. Pain meds for true pain patients do improve their quality of life by allowing them to go about their day pain free. Pain mgt is not one size fits all. Sometimes therapy & shots need to be used in conjunction with meds. Every patient needs to be treated on a case by case basis & not thrown to the wolves denying their pain meds. Stop treating everyone like addicts & listen to your patients. You are only making drug abusers worse.There are many chronic pain patients that use their meds responsibility. I have enough sense to know when my quality of life imoroves. Stop treating everyone like addicts & morons. You have a lot to learn about bedside manner & showing genuine concern for those who live in pain. Maybe one day you will walk down this road of being pushed aside & treated like an addict when you are in true pain not… being given the chance to prove you are responsible. Dr. Thymius, have mercy on your soul as you keep playing this wicked game of rejection & lack of concern for your patients who need relief even through meds who are not addicts at all but get adequate relief by responsibly taking their meds. You are just a selfish moron who has no business in pain mgt.
