Dr. Andrew Trussler, MD

Let me start by saying that Dr. Trussler has preformed MULTIPLE procedures including breast lift with augmentation, liposuction, tummy tuck with diastasis (caused by pregnancy) repair, rhinoplasty, septoplasty, scar revision, botox, dysport, and filler injections for me over the past SIX YEARS. Every single time he has been EXCEPTIONAL! Prior to going in for my initial consultation I did my own thorough research which revealed the history of sanctions mentioned in other reviews. I asked him directly about that and he took the time to provide me with a detailed and honest response. Frankly, I chose him because I appreciated his honesty, not only about his past, but also in his opinion of what other surgeons were recommending for my case. His recommendations were SPOT ON. I truly believe that if I had gone with the suggestions of other surgeon I would not have the AWESOME results I have today! Dr. Trussler has always taken the time to give a detailed consultation, has had an excellent… bedside manner on the day of procedure, has followed up on aftercare, stood behind his work, has an excellent office staff, and ALWAYS does his own injections (which is somewhat rare). I truly do not know where some of these negative reviews are coming from, other than that some people have unrealistic expectations. I feel like he works very hard to manage expectations during consultations. If "perfection" is unattainable, he still comes pretty dang close. I have had one minor revision after a procedure, which was a scar revision because I "spit stitches" and have a history of keloid scarring. (not his fault, that's just my body's response). But he handled the revision at no additional cost to me. I have also had at least six other friends or relatives that have had procedures from him as well- all of which are exceptionally happy. Trust that you're in good hands with Dr. Trussler- he's got some of the best I've ever known on a surgeon.The man has changed my LIFE! Self confidence, breathing, everything!

Dr. Trussler did not do what I asked for at all. I should have paid attention to the warning signs (he didn’t even show up to my pre-op appointment) but his demeanor is very convincing. I asked for small changes and he destroyed my body. He admits he did a bad job but will only REFUND my money if I sign a legal document to not write a review. This probably explains all the 5 star reviews.

Dr Trussler completed a chin augmentation and neck liposuction on me and I am very happy with the process and outcome. For my initial visit Dr Trussler spent nearly an hour with me reviewing options and explaining things very throughly. They even produced some 3d images simulating the outcome for me afterwards to help me with my decision. The actual surgery went very well and was a nice quiet surgical center in Westlake. My results have been really quite dramatic and I have healed very well since surgery. The incisions are still healing but it looks like I will have very minimal scarring. I am very happy with my choice.

I trusted him to do what he said he knew how to do now I’m full of scars but look the same. Surgical staff were unfriendly and unprofessional. Money wasted and forget regretful.

I had eye bag filler with him and the it just gets the situation worse. Most reviews on google are fake. He is a nice person but a lousy plastic surgeon.

Kind and caring man who made me feel comfortable in my first consultation. Answered any questions I had with patience and ease. I can’t wait for my surgery!!

I just want to give props to my AMAZING SURGEON, DR TRUSSLER! He has bedside manner that you just don't find in surgeons anymore. He did so much more than I expected, he even spent 2 extra hours during the procedure to make sure my breasts were perfect (my ribs are shifted, so the left side is higher). He took off a mole that I absolutely hated and of course it's safer to have it removed. He was competitive in pricing. And made me feel like a patient rather than a number. As well as having an amazing office staff I trust, who was very knowledgeable unlike other offices I met with. I never wait even 5 minutes for an appt. I can't say enough good things about him. I even met with a couple of the most recommended docs, but no one compared to Dr Trussler. I would send anyone his way!

We cannot say enough about this super Surgeon! He is brilliant, compassionate and was a Great Gift to us and our family!

I am bothered by the responses I get from personnel at Southwestern Medical Center when I ask for an appointment with Dr. Trussler. The first time I called I was given a very curt response. "He is no longer at Southwestern." The second time I called I asked where he is currently practicing, they "could not say." I was left with a bad feeling about how a very fine doctor may have been treated by Southwestern.Dr. Trussler has performed two procedures on me. The outcome on the first procedure was quite satisfactory, so I asked for him on the second procedure. This time, the procedure was complicated, time consuming, and took a great deal of expertise and care to assure a good outcome. He stayed with me most of the afternoon. When he left, I felt reassured that all was well.

This young men is nice and great as a person. but not a good plastic surgeon, he performed multiple reconstructive and cosmetic procedure on my self, but i am very UNHAPPY!!!!!!!!. with my current appearance. Plus very disappoint with the staff RN's are awful not a good care at all and NOT recommended......
