Dr. Andrew George Vayonis, MD

Dr. Vayonis is an excellent physician. I am very pleased with the care I received at his office. I have one complaint the billing department closes at 3:00 p.m.. It's very inconvenient when most doctor offices stay open until 5:00 p.m. I called several times and was told to call back the next day before 3:00 pm or I could contact my insurance company.

I have been a patient of Dr. Andrew Vayonis for the past 9 years. He is extremely knowledgeable and perfessional in treating his patients. Dr. Vayonis always runs on time. The office staff are pleasant, very helpful, and after every appointment I am instructed to call if I have any questions. I have delt with the billing department and I have been very pleased with the outcome. This practice is always willing to work with the patients needs. I would recommend this doctor to anyone who is suffering from environmental and food allergies.

To be fair, Dr. Vayonis is a very gentle and kind Doctor that has good bedside manner and is very good at what he does. However, I would caution anyone about becoming a patient of his because he chooses to employ people that are rude, abrupt, unintelligent, and unprofessional. Some of his office staff is very kind and sweet, but there are a few that will treat you poorly, and unfortunitely, I will not see a Doctor that employs people that choose to treat his patients poorly. Also be cautious about billing. The individual that does their billing is not a very bright person and she will double bill you for visits and then get an attitude with you when you tell her you have already paid for that visit. If you ever call to ask her a question, she will flip out on you. So if you go to Dr. Vayonis, please make sure to carefully check all of your bills as they tend to do their billing wrong (they will also sometimes bill you for things that insurance has already paid for). Overall, you… would be better off finding another allergist.
