Dr. Andrew Yeh, DO

DO NOT GO TO THIS DOCTOR....unless you want to be HARASSED by the nurse while the doctor stands by and pretends not to hear. This medical office has by far the most unprofessional staff I've ever encountered. Situation: When completing their new patient form and inputting your address, there's a box you could check to allow them to use the address on your driver's license. I selected this option and checked the box. When the nurse (she refused to give me her name) came into the room looking visibly mad about something. When she saw that I didn't fill out the address part, she went OFF on me. Saying things like "I hate you" and threating me with "do you want to see the doctor or not?!" The doctor walked by and heard/saw everything but just stared at me when I asked him if this is how he has his staff treat his patients. I asked for the nurse's name and that I'm going to make a complaint and her response was to mock me and saying "I'm so scared." The front office staff were also… useless and wouldn't provide the nurse's name and responded with "That's between you and her." Needless to say, I left and never saw Dr. Yeh, but WILL NOT be coming back ever again and will continue to spread to my network to not come here either.

If I could give the doctor -5 stars I would. I don't know where to start. 1 year again, I was referred to Dr. Yeh and since then it's been horrible. The doctor ask for upfront $2400 to due my procedure, but because if the type of insurance I had he said he always have problems of them not paying him what he wants. The day of the procedure surgery I paid $1500 thinking it was for the facility. After the surgery and the recovery vist, Dr. Yeh said that my insurance didn't pay him what he wanted just like he thought, he said these insurance company dont understand he save my life and the amount they paid was nothing. He ask me if I could give him more money. I told him that he between him and the insurance company. So, coming forward. The issue I had the surgery for has come back worst. At my new doctors office visit I signed a medical release form and the faxed over to Dr. Yeh office, the front desk staff told my new doctors staff that they will not fax over my medical… records and that I would have to come pick them up. Thinking there must be some kind of misunderstanding I called the office. I was told that the doctor lefted a note in my file not to release record and I had to come and get them. I informed the lady that I can come get them because I was having difficulty walking. She said you can have someone to come get them, but they would have to prove that they are relatives. I ask to speak to the doctor but was told he was busy. 5 mins later I received a called from the front desk manager and he told me that I have to come in because they dont want to jeopardize faxing them to a wrong number, I told him I can walk, and he immediately got up set. Then he said " plus I see you have a balance of about $300. I told him I dont owe anything and ask is that the reason I can't have my medical records". He said No, "you can have your medical records but if you come or someone on your behave a check is not given or I will be placed in Collection. They will report me Collection. I told them you have never billed me, because I didn't owe anything "He said well we tried to calling you". So, I believe if I show up or a relative they will try to bill me for a visit or something to have a current transactions to push forward to Collection and change the amount to where it looks different from the original. So, I am in a bind. Due I pay an amount that I do not owe, and prolong the hysterectomy that I need and stay in PAIN!!!!! or Just let him put me in Collection and put myself jeopardy that he will bill me way more, just because.

I like the front desk people as they understand your need and they tried to give you an appointment as soon as possible. However, Dr. Yeh is always in a RUSH and spent too little time with gyno patients so he missed some important diagnostics. One of the visits, I waited for 1.5 hours, and then he came in without any exam and asked me do you have any questions, then he left for his next patient. He only spent less than one minute with me. I am very disappoint with this doctor's attitude. If he is that busy, then he should have called me to reschedule. Anyway, his gyno skill needs to be sharpened, and he needs to manage the time spends on patients to avoid mis-diagnostics.

Dr Yeh recently did my PAP smear and well women exam, he is so gentle, I felt no pain. I been to many doctors never do I feel so comfortable and Pap was done in matter of minute. I am recommending all of my family and friends to see Dr Yeh. Thank you

I find this doctor very two faced and mercenary. no ethics whatsoever. Talks a good story so when I put my mother in his hands for a small procedure, she experienced complications to the point that she had to be back in the Emergency twice in one week. He even refused to see her the second time she went back for severe pain. My family doc says it is rare to hear about problems from such a simple procedure so who knows what the heck he did. This is a doctor who will be nice to you when he can make money off you, but when you have problems afterwards, he will drop you like a hot potato. I finally brought my mother to someone else for another opinion and it seems like my poor mother never even needed her surgery in the first place. What a terrible experience - stay away for your own sake! (oh and as I was reading his other reviews, it is true - there are so many people from foreign countries in his office - they all pay in cash and he seems so super sweet to them compared to my… mother who is on insurance.) Lesson learned.

Whenever I call Dr. Yeh's office for gynecological problem, his office staff ALWAYS fit me in no matter how busy they are. I have been suffering for years with heavy periods and severe menstral cramps. Dr. Yeh is always there for me. He spends time explaining what he can do to help me. I went to so many different doctors and clinics and hospitals and NO one LISTENS to me like Dr. Yeh. This time I came back to him for heavy periods and horrible cramps, I thought I was dying, can not even work. Dr. Yeh immediately set me up for Ablation procedure at Garfield Hospital. I was treated and left on the same day. I am now doing GREAT, NO pain or Bleeding. I feel so good I am ready to go back to work for the first time in half a year. Thank you Dr. Yeh, you are my Savior !!!!!

Great service, very professional , he really spends time with patients. I saw so many doctors he spends the most time with me. He really cares about my health. I will recommand him to anyone. He speaks 4 languages, I am so impressed. He speaks Englush, Spanish, Chinese and Japanese. Excellent care during my pregnancy, now I had my baby I am still seeing him for birth control. Thanks Dr. Yeh , you are the Best!!!
