Andrew James Young

Dr. Andrew Young is a dedicated physician with a background in Family Medicine and broad experience in primary care. Over the years, he has developed a reputation for compassionate, personalized care and a commitment to patient education, preventive health, and continuity of care across the lifespan. He is particularly passionate about providing comprehensive, evidence based care for pregnant patients and well as care for children.  He enjoys the continuity of being able to take care of mom and baby both during pregnancy and then continuing after delivery.  This is unique given his background training in Family Medicine.

He holds the appropriate certifications and maintains affiliations in the region, and his clinical interests include women’s health, prenatal care, chronic disease management, and adolescent health. His local ties mean he is already familiar with the community’s needs and is eager to bring his skills into synergy with Monroe OB/GYN’s mission.
