Dr. Andy Van Tran, MD

Dr. Andy Tran is a family medicine physician with expertise in hospital medicine who has been practicing for three decades. He completed his medical degree at Louisiana State University School of Medicine in Shreveport and went on to finish his residency training at University Health Conway. With 30 years of clinical experience, Dr. Tran brings extensive knowledge to his dual specialties of family medicine and hospital medicine. He provides care in English.

Dr. Tran practices at both Morehouse General Hospital in Bastrop, Louisiana, and Avoyelles Hospital in Marksville, Louisiana. His clinical focus includes managing high blood pressure in adults and children, including emergency situations when blood pressure reaches dangerous levels. He treats hypertensive emergencies, which require immediate medical attention to prevent serious complications.
