Horrific. Bakken raises her voice to you like you are being scolded like a little child. Run, run, and run. She does not act professional at all. Very rude and short with you. She is nothing like her YouTube video. Do not waist your time. I would never refer anyone to her. She is a very poor example for a doctor.

Dr. Bakken is a highly knowledgeable physician and was willing to take the time to answer all of my questions as I went through the process of being diagnosed with Celiac Disease and GERD. She was very thorough in our discussions, providing a great deal of information and I didn't feel rushed during our interactions. She genuinely cares about the well being of her patients. I had seen other doctors previously and didn't get this level of interaction or care and my condition went undiagnosed until I saw Dr. Bakken. She employs a nutritionist as part of her staff which is another example of the level of commitment she has to the success of her patients living with Celiac and GERD conditions.

I come from Atlanta to Detroit to see Dr Bakken. She has been all I could want in a doctor.. professional, smart, friendly, super helpful when I needed it.

Dr Bakkan is a great doctor. However, I was 15 minutes for an appt due to traffic and construction this morning and tried to call the office to let them know I was running late. I received an automated recording stating they were closed. When I arrived they told me I had to come back another time. I had scheduled my appt several weeks in advance, drove over an hour to get there, and took time off work. They were not kind or sympathetic. If there’s a chance you will be just a few minutes late, do not count on them allowing you to keep your appointment.
