Dr. Angel Lasheran Allen, MD

I will not go back to Angel.she removed a cist from my back and i wound up with a infection.My wife used gloves to remove to bandage she put on 24 hours after surgery ,it was infected ,went to a local clinic and they said the same thing ,wound up going to ER the next ,they kept me over night to pump massive amounts of antibiotics in me,went to see her 4 days later and she said is was my fault ,i don't think the tools were sterilized ,they were not in plastic wrap or cleaning fluid ,they just laying in the open on a towel

ANGEL IS A VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE PHYSICIAN AND SHE IS VERY INFORMATIVE. MY ONLY ISSUE WITH DR. ADAMS IS HER PEOPLE SKILLS. SHE IS VERY PROFESSIONAL, BUT DOES NOT SEEM TO CONNECT WELL WITH SOME PATIENTS. IF SHE COULD JUST LOOSEN UP AND TAKE A LITTLE TIME WITH EACH PATIENT DEVELOPING A RAPORE, SHE WOULD FIND HERSELF BOOKED SOLID! WE LOVE YOU DR. A THANKS

I am pleased with the completeness of care I receive each time I come to Dr. Allen. She takes her time to answer questions no matter how simple they may be. She explains the "why" she is using a particular medicine or treatment. She is always pleasant and very much the professional.

Dr. Allen is a wonder! I highly recommend her. My experience at her office was efficient and professional.

SHE IS THE WORST DOCTOR I HAVE EVER BEEN TO. I HAVE HAD THE SAME SKIN CONDITION FOR 35 YEARS SO I AM PRETTY MUCH USED TO IT BUT IT HAD BEEN SOME TIME SINCE I HAD BEEN TO A DERMATOLOGIST SO I WENT TO SEE HER BECAUSE SHE WAS THE ONLY ONE WHO COULD GET ME IN RATHER QUICKLY AND NOW I KNOW WHY. SHE KEPT INTERRUPTING ME WHEN I WAS TRYING TO TALK AND SHE WOULDN'T RECOMMEND ANY NEW MEDICATIONS FOR ME AND AS A MATTER OF FACT SHE CALLED A TUBE OF CREAM INTO MY PHARMACY AND WHEN I WENT TO PICK IT UP THE PHARMACIST SAID THAT THE DOCTOR HAD CALLED AND CANCELLED THE PRESCRIPTION AND THAT AND THAT THEY HAVE NEVER HAD THIS HAPPEND BEFORE AND SHE WOULD BE IN TOUCH WITH ME TO EXPLAIN WHY. I NEVER HEARD FROM HER SO I CALLED THE OFFICE AND THE RECEPTIONIST SAID I WOULD BE GETTING A LETTER IN THE MAIL TO EXPLAIN WHY IT WAS CANCELLED SO I TOLD HER THAT THEY SHOULDN'T MIND THEN WHEN I CANCEL MY PAYMENT TO THEM...STILL HAVEN'T RECEIVED ANY LETTER BUT I WILL NEVER GO BACK TO HER OR RECOMMEND HER. I… CURRENTLY IN THE PROCESS OF FILING A FORMAL COMPLAINT AGAINST HER WITH THE DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH.

I am leaving Dr. Allen after 7 years. I do not have insurance and I have asked more than once for her to send my biopsy to Boyce and Bynum because if you pay in full boyce and bynum give a 40% discount....BUT SHE WILL NOT. She says she is the Doctor and will only send it only to SLU (St. Louis). YOU DR. ALLEN would rather LOSE A 7 year PATIENT??? You are no better than any one else $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ GOOD BYE ANGEL

Dr. Allen was wonderful. I have been itch-free for months now and other doctors were not able to get me to that point. She always treats me with respect and cleared my rash. Thank Goodness!

I recently had an appointment with Dr. Allen and will not go back. I had to wait almost an hour past my appointment time to see the doctor. Once I finally got to see the doctor she was rude and condescending. She interrupted me when I was trying to tell her my problems. Although I got an appointment with her quickly It would have been worth waiting to see another dermatologist in Jefferson City.

This was my first visit to a dermatologist in years. Dr. Allen was able to address all of my concerns about sun damage and gave great advice on sun protection. I had to have a couple of spots removed from my face and she did a great job and they healed nicely. I highly recommend her.
