Dr. Angel Morrobel, MD, FACC

Would never recommend I chose this doctor because people love him. They love him in these reviews and people I met love him as well. I stayed with him through many visits. Looking back the problem is I never knew what was going on. He never addressed the concerns I came in with, but ran a lot of test maybe six or eight. I thought he was using these tests to get back to my questions. But those never were answered. One day I got a call from a pulmonologist saying Dr Morrobel had referred me. I never knew why. I asked on the phone and I was told it was because of shortness of breath. There’s no way I could have shortness of breath and not realize it. So I did not go and he never mentioned it ever. Another day I got a call three months after I had last seen him saying he wanted me to have a test STAT and could I come in right away. I went the next day and had the test but he never mentioned it. I really feel like he was just running tests on me for some reason other than helping me.After… many visits and a variety of tests, I was not helped by this doctor at all.

Time well spent ,worth the wait.

Dr. Morrabel is one of the most learned doctors I have ever met and I am a nurse with 30 years experience. He has the unique ability to listen while assessing what you are saying. He has knowledge in so many areas other than his own specialty which is the problem with most specialists who see only their own speciality in what you are saying. He sent me for various tests which covered more than one bodily system and made his diagnosis from the results which turned out to be a combination of cardiovascular and also thyroid function. He is a rarity in doctors as he shows a genuine interest and also compassion in you as an individual. I have had many opportunities to meet and work with a number of doctors, but he is tops in my estimation. I would recommend him to anyone who is looking for an exceptional doctor who is experienced, very intelligent and compassionate.

Dr. Morrobel saw me a while back for a strange buzzing in my chest. He is so smart, the first thing he ask me was how was I sleeping. Who would have ever figured poor sleep would have been my problem. I redesigned my sleeping habits and the buzzing stopped. I am so lucky not to have gone to the wrong kind of doctor who would suggests all kinds of medication with side affects. He is very detailed and did do other testing before I left to make sure it was not caused by something else. We love you Dr. Morrobel! Please don't ever leave Destin!

Dr Angel Morrobel has been my cardiologist for over 3 years. My first visit with him was due to shortness of breath and fatigue. Following an Echo Cardiogram, Heart MRI, and an Angiogram, he immediately sent me to an open heart surgeon. At age 55 and otherwise in excellent health, I had a congenital defective failing heart valve with less than 1 cm square blood flow, a failing aortic stem (heart vessel), and 97% blockage of the left anterior descending vessel (the widow maker). He kindly advised me this was a near death experience (he privately advised my husband, it was the widow maker) and immediate sent me to a trusted heart transplant surgeon (Dr McGiffith) for open heart surgery. Dr McGiffith, replaced the heart valve, repaired the failing aortic vessel, and used one of my excess vessels to repair and replace the blocked left anterior descending vessel. Thanks to Dr Morrobel (my life trusted cardiologist) and Dr McGiffith (superior heart surgeon), I continue to live a full… health life. I recommend Dr Morrobel (an exceptional gifted and visional doctor) and all of his professional staff to everyone I know.
